ARC: In the season 9 finale, Natalia found herself in... let's say a difficult "predicament". How much are you able to divulge on the opening episode of season 10 and was it exciting doing underwater stunts?

Eva: I can't say much about the episode because I don't want to give anything away. I can say this much...I am not a great swimmer and I was terrified to go into the cold, deep water. It was one of my worst fears come true. Luckily my crew was really easy on me.

ARC: Natalia has had an interesting run on the show; a pregnancy scare with Delko, an undercover FBI agent, an abusive ex husband, kidnapped, drugged, caught up in explosions, kidnapped again, left for dead in the trunk of a car; when you look back at those moments, how would you say Natalia has progressed?

Eva: Natalia has had quite a run alright. I think that she just needed to get her footing. She was used to grant writing and DNA lab work and then when she became a CSI, she needed to get into her groove. As you can tell from this last season...she has gotten more daring and she has a tough side!

ARC: What has been the most interesting aspect of Natalia's character to explore?

Eva: I think the fact that she has gotten more daring and out of the lab is the most interesting aspect of Natalia. I love to play out the action stuff.

ARC: Adam took to the directors chair last season and also wrote his first episode for the show, and to quote Adam, "Eva was totally on point!" How was it working on "Hunting Ground"?

Eva: Adam can do no wrong in my book. He is a great actor, a wonderful writer and a super director. I was on point only because he was so amazing.

ARC: Here's something fairly controversial. Last season due to Emily expecting her first child, this meant she would have less screen time which in turn bought your character to the center. Some viewers were quite critical of this. What are your thoughts?

Eva: I did not know that there was any controversy. I don't get a lot of time to read the fan forums, etc. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to have more story lines. I was just so happy to step in and pick up some of the slack for Emily while she was pregnant. It was so important for Emily to concentrate on her health and the well being of her baby. In the end...She is a great mother and her baby is adorable. I did not realize there was any controversy. LOL!

ARC: You and Eddie Cibrian were a couple on NBC's Third Watch and when Eddie joined CSI Miami there was something in the air for Jesse and Natalia. Were you disappointed a romance was never fully explored?

Eva: Eddie is a really sweet guy. Yes, we worked together on Third Watch but we never had the chance to become really close friends. I enjoyed working with him at CSI:Miami too but as actors...we are constantly moving on from job to job. We are used to it. I never really thought about what would have happened if they explored our romantic relationship. It might have been fun. I wish him well on his new series. He will do great!

ARC: How would you sum up Eric and Natalia's relationship history?

Eva: There was an initial attraction. They tried it out and it didn't work so well. Luckily both characters were able to move on and it has not effected their work environment. A lot of fans approach me and tell me that the chemistry between Eric and Natalia is strong and they think the two of them will get together again.

ARC: Maybe you can clear up a question that MANY fans have been asking for a long time... where has the lovely Valera disappeared to?!

Eva: I don't know...Where is that girl? Boti is a wonderful actress and a great gal. I miss working with her!

ARC: CSI Miami; now 10 years on the air, you have to be ecstatic about that?

Eva: I am so ecstatic. It is the best job I have ever had and I am so appreciative everyday that I have such a great job to go to. I feel like I have won the lottery everyday.

ARC: You recently returned to All My Children. Did you ease right back in to the role of Maria?

Eva: It was a blast. It was like going home again. I got to work with dear friend, Sarah Michelle Gellar and we had never really worked together before. We shared a dressing room for about 2 years but finally got to have scenes together. I loved seeing all my old friends. Working at AMC is like being a part of a huge family.

ARC: What was it like going back? It's fair to say you got pretty emotional when speaking about the final season.

Eva: I still can't talk about it without getting emotional. AMC launched my career and changed my life. I got married there and had my baby there and made so many close friends. I am so sad that it is going away. It is a part of television history. Pine Valley is a part of America. It breaks my heart. That role taught me how to really be an actress. It introduced me to a man who gave me my daughter. That is something that I am eternally thankful for and will always be.

ARC: You are the National Spokesperson for the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation and you are a part of their Butterfly Effect television campaign and print campaign. How important is this organization to you?

Eva: I love Beckstrand. The work we do there everyday really helps cancer patients and their families cope with the everyday issues related to cancer. Beckstrand provides aid for such expenses as rent, mortgage, medical insurance payments, gas, groceries and a host of other everyday expenses. Our mission is to take away some of life's worries so patients and families can focus on recovery. Beckstrand is beyond effective and extraordinary. To learn more go to www.beckstrand.org.

ARC: You made the move to Twitter this year. Is it fun communicating with your fans in your own personal way? There is also an impostor Eva LaRue on Twitter!

Eva: Yes, I made the leap. It is fun to keep up with fans and keep in the "know" about what is going on in cyber space! LOL! I guess I am flattered that someone wants to be me but I also feel bad for my fans that are being misled. This other person is giving out false information and it is really not a very nice thing for them to do. I wish that they would not pretend to be me. For the record...I am EvaLaRueCappoo! I have no other Twitter name.

ARC: A huge congratulations on your 20+ year career in the industry!

Eva: Have I been working that long? Yikes. It makes me sound old. LOL! Seriously...I have been really lucky. I have been blessed and I am so lucky.

ARC: You have some amazing fans out there, what message do you have for them?

Eva: I have the best fans out there. So many of them have been with me since my days on AMC. When I meet people on the street they are so kind and complimentary. The letters I get from fans are so encouraging. I hope I can keep doing work that will keep the fans coming back. I owe my fans a great deal of gratitude! Thank you all so very much!!!! xoxoxo
